Nursing Care Requirement and Nursing Service Satisfaction of the orthopedi patients admitted to the Comprehensive Nursing Care Service Wards

Abstract
|

|
Purpose : The purpose of this study was to provide the basic data for the positive settlement of nursing integrated service system for the improvement of the quality of nursing care by confirming the nursing care requirement and satisfaction of the orthopedic patients admitted to the comprehensive nursing care service wards.
Methods : A survey was conducted with 126 questionnaires from comprehensive nursing care service wards inpatients of B hospital in B city. Data were collected from July 15 to October 30. 2018.
Results : The results of the study showed that average score of nursing care requirement was 4.11, The sub-areas were in the order of treatment demands, educational needs, social needs, and physical demands. The average score of nursing service satisfaction was 4.32, The sub-areas were in the order of professional and technical areas, reliability areas, and education areas.
Conclusion : Based on this, comprehensive nursing care service wards nurses should be provide nursing care including accurate information on the high treatment needs of inpatients. In the satisfaction of nursing service, education area is the lowest, so it is necessary to develop and apply effective communication strengthening program to supplement this.
